Chef joanne here, owner of culinary occasions and passionate flight attendant! I wear an apron while working both my jobs! At Culinary Occasions you will find me cooking up a storm at my commercial kitchen creating delicious and flavorsome meals for my clients. At westjet I am a cabin manager providing world class guest experience to our clientele. Believe me, I know all the highs and lows when it comes to aviation catering!

 Along side with my aviation catering knowledge and love for creating beautiful food I have designed a fabulous breakfast menu showcasing a hot and cold option that will surprise and delight your corporate guests onboard. My extensive entrée meal options will cater to any lunch or dinner your clients will require. Cheese, deli and sandwich charcuterie platters are Culinary Occasions forte, beautifully crafted to surprise and delight your guests.

Breakfast

Herb omelet

 Delight your guests with a hot egg breakfast with all the trimmings. All packaged and ready for the oven! This breakfast entrée is served with a grilled breakfast sausage, char grilled tomato, sautéed bell peppers and mushrooms. a dinner roll, honey, fruit jam and butter are accompanied with the meal. 

Continental platter

For a quick service, plate up this cold continental platter! This entrée includes deli style ham and salami served along side a soft cheese and a hard cheese garnished with fig preserve. As well this cold option is accompanied with seasonal fruits, a dinner roll, croissant, honey, fruit jam and butter.

Gourmet Entrees  

Chicken Roulade entrée

Choose this classic chicken entrée for a more substantial meal. Roulade stuffing has all the flavours to delight any guest. Sides include orange glazed carrots, seasonal greens and rosemary roasted baby potatoes served with a delicious chicken jus. Dinner roll and parsley butter included.

Beef entrée 

This hearty beef entrée ticks all the boxes for flavour and satisfaction. Sides include orange glazed carrots, seasonal greens and roasted baby potatoes. A red wine reduction jus is included to take this entrée to an elevated level. Dinner roll and parsley butter included.

Mediterranean salmon entrée

Pan fried salmon served with a fresh Mediterranean tomato sauce. Sides include seasonal vegetables and mashed potato. Dinner roll and parsley butter included.  

Home comfort entrées plated in minutes. 

These home comfort entrée options provide all the warm comforts of flavorsome home cooking and are quick and easy to plate. They all have a delicious meat or vegetable sauce served with rice, pasta or couscous. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. On completion of re-heating simply invert the foil container onto a dinner plate, apply the garnish and your guests entrée is served. Dinner roll and parsley butter included.

 

Honey prune chicken – fruity sauce with chickpeas and pasta or rice

Spicy apricot pork – fruity curried pork with rice

Chilli beef – hearty spiced beef with black beans and rice

Tomato beef pasta – ground beef in tomato sauce and penne

All the platters are tailor made to the client’s specific requirements. They are served on eye catching display boards and decorated with olives, fruits and vegetable garnishes.
