Broccoli Side

Serves 6

Ingredients 

3 Fresh broccoli crowns

3/4 cup of almond slices

1/2 cup chopped dry cranberries

1 tablespoon salted butter

salt

Method

  1. Wash the broccoli crowns thoroughly then cut the broccoli florets off the stalk.

  2. Place in a metal colander and steam over a boiling saucepan of water until fork tender.

  3. Season with salt and place on a serving dish.

  4. Melt the butter in a pan over a low heat, add the almonds and cranberries and cook until the almonds are a light brown.

  5. Sprinkle the almond and cranberry mixture over the broccoli florets and serve!
